first of all, the gears on my mountain bike got tangled up. then someones fixed it, but it only works on gear 1. the bike looks normal but i dont know why this is happenening?

    It sounds like whoever untangled your gears didn’t readjust the deralleur afterwords. But there could still be other things that are still not right. If in dought, have a bike shop or a serious rider who is also a great do-it-yourselfer look at it. Maybe some parts need replacing that weren’t noticed after the initial “untangling”.

    your bike is cheap it did not happen to me, go to a shop and have it fixed.
